The GESS has strong European foundations and believes in developing confident, forward-looking students through a celebration of respect, openness and inclusiveness. GESS is recognised for its languages and offers a choice between two main curricula: the German Abitur or the English-speaking International Baccalaureate (IB) programme. The school caters to students of all ages, starting from 18 months to graduation at 18 years. GESS is a private school association led by an elected committee and the school management. Currently, more than 300 full and part-time staff are employed at the school. A new purpose-built campus with brand new facilities will open in August, 2018 at Dairy Farm Road.



  • Work with the CCA Coordinator on the strategic direction of the CCA department. Be responsible for implementation of strategic plans.
  • Manage the operations of the CCA programme, ensuring smooth enrolment, adhering to the day to day operational procedures and working in close collaboration with the CCA Coordinator & Sports coordinator.
  • Write and facilitate communications about CCAs with parents, students, teachers including homeroom teachers, via GESS Weekly, eBrief, direct email or other means of communication.
  • Manage and communicate the CCA Event Calendar. Provide organisational support and promote upcoming CCA events e.g. performances, open classes, contributions to festivals.
  • Source and allocate qualified instructors for each CCA
  • Provide timely information to the bus office to enable them to organise CCA transport and the booking of transport for activities related to CCA.
  • Provide timely information to the Operations Manager with regards to income and expenditure associated with CCA Programme, when required.
  • Generate statistics and provide recommendations regarding the CCA programme for the next year
  • Work with CCA instructors to assign students to the appropriate CCA level

  • English native speaker, German language knowledge advantageous
